My Story

Why I Became a Therapist

I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space where they can be themselves, feel understood, and work through life’s challenges without judgment. My passion for therapy comes from seeing the strength people carry, even when they feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or uncertain about what comes next.

It is meaningful to walk alongside clients as they better understand themselves, develop healthier ways of coping, and begin creating changes that reflect the life and relationships they want. I am honored to support each person’s healing process while recognizing that growth looks different for everyone.

My Approach

Therapy Should Feel Safe, Collaborative, and Personal

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel comfortable, respected, and actively involved in the process. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to provide support, guidance, and practical tools as we explore what you are experiencing and what may be getting in the way of meaningful change.

My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care that is tailored to your needs, strengths, experiences, and goals. Together, we will identify patterns, build coping skills, and develop strategies that feel realistic and useful in your everyday life.

Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy-informed interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, strengths-based approaches, and solution-focused techniques. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable while helping you develop greater emotional balance, confidence, and resilience.
